Juliette founded PERLE Expertise in September 2020. PERLE is a consulting and training company for private (biotech, start-up, pharma), public research, and associative structures (representing patients, and the various healthcare professions) in the fields of the:

  • Evaluation of health products in real conditions of use (Pharmaco-epidemiology, Health economics and Quality of Life)

  • Support for innovative health strategies and solutions in order to optimize patient care

  • Support to develop public / private partnerships, involving patient representatives

Pharmaceutical Industry

MERCK KGA 2010-2020

She joined MERCK in France in 2010, worked 5 years in Market Access and Public Affairs, and then three and half years as Head of Medical Excellence in France. In this position, she developed RWE (Real Word Evidence) activities and the Patient-centricity strategy.

In September 2019 she has been appointed as Fertility Medical Director at Merck Global Medical Affairs in Darmstadt - Germany. She was responsible for RWE (Real-Word Evidence) and HE (Health Economic) studies on the entire Fertility portfolio and to implement the RWE and HE strategies.

CRO

MAPI 2001-2010

At MAPI she specialized in Pharmacoepidemiology and Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO), always with the objective to respond to the Health Authorities expectations.

She was the head of MAPI-NAXIS-R, the department dedicated to pharmaco-epidemiological studies requested by the Health Authority (HAS, CEPS, AFSSAPS).

She was responsible for the development and the activity of In Fine Pharma®, network of 2,000 pharmacies conducting pharmaco-epidemiological studies.

She was the Scientific coordinator of the Pharmaco-epidemiology Summer Schools (UPE, Avignon, 2005-2010)

Fundamental research

INSERM 1996-2001

Juliette started her career in fundamental research with a PhD in Reproduction Endocrinology. She worked as Research associate on the involvement of metalloproteinases in the migration and differentiation of germ cells (male infertility causes) at INSERM U 329- Debrousse Hospital, Lyon.

There she felt a strong motivation to get closer to patients. She decided to learn how to apply Biostatistics to Clinical Trials and Epidemiology.
